Nexus Compounding Launches Direct-to-Vial QR Traceability System

Every Nexus vial now ships with a lot-linked QR code tied directly to its independent Certificate of Analysis — scan the vial, see the data.

Nexus Compounding LLC today announced the full rollout of its direct-to-vial QR traceability system across its entire research peptide catalog. Beginning with all orders shipped after May 1, 2026, every vial carries a unique QR code linking directly to its third-party Certificate of Analysis issued by an independent testing laboratory.

What This Means for Researchers

Until now, researchers receiving peptide compounds had to rely on batch-level documentation — a single CoA potentially covering hundreds of vials. Nexus's lot-linked QR system creates a one-to-one relationship between the physical vial and the analytical data backing it.

Scanning the QR code surfaces:

  • HPLC purity results (target >99%)
  • Endotoxin and sterility testing outcomes
  • Heavy metals and residual solvent panels
  • Chain-of-custody documentation from compounding to shipment

Why It Matters

Reproducibility is the foundation of credible research. When vial-to-vial consistency cannot be verified, experimental noise increases and results become difficult to replicate. Our traceability system eliminates that uncertainty by making the data inseparable from the compound.

All testing is performed by accredited third-party laboratories. Nexus Compounding does not issue its own CoAs — the documents linked via QR are produced and signed by the testing facility.
